Step 1
Collect stone waste
Limestone, aka residual stone waste, is released during the mining process in quarries. This limestone is the basic natural resource for making stone paper.
Step 2
Make limestone powder
The limestone is ground to perfection to extract calcium carbonate. This stone powder will serve as the main ingredient to make erasable stone paper.
Step 3
Produce stone paper
A magical material is created by combining stone powder with recycled plastic. Not any plastic. It's the non-toxic HDPE, considered the most environmentally friendly plastic around, since it can be recycled over and over again.
Step 4
Create erasable notebooks
With the stone paper in hand, it's a matter of choosing a sustainable printer to print and bind the stone papers into our MOYU notebooks.
