Simavi is dedicated to improve water, sanitation, and hygiene for women and girls across Africa and Asia. By supporting local solutions, they ensure access to safe water, toilets, and empower women through education. Simavi fosters sustainable and inclusive, community-based approaches, ensuring that women and girls not only have the resources they need, but also the opportunity to thrive in an environment of dignity and equal opportunity. With projects like Hellen’s work in Tanzania, Simavi empowers women and girls with the resources and authority to confront water and climate challenges, creating lasting impact.
We sometimes spend 6 to 7 hours a day searching for water.
No one should ever have to exchange sex for water. In response to this violation of human dignity, Simavi launched their “Stop Sex for Water” petition to raise awareness around this issue. We wanted to contribute in our own unique way by creating " Stop Sex for Water " Impact Edition notebook, promoting Simavi’s mission to address the urgent need for sustainable solutions. For every notebook sold, €2.50 will be donated directly to Simavi’s projects to ensure that safe water and sanitation for women and girls is a worldwide reality. By tackling both water scarcity and paper waste, we hope to create a meaningful impact for these vulnerable communities.
We aspired to create an erasable notebook design that represents woman and their right for sustainable water in the ongoing fight against sextortion. We’ve been successful in doing so. Not only do our notebooks serve as a practical tool for everyday use but they also carry a powerful message. The front cover is designed with a beautiful line-art design of a woman’s profile, merged with an orange water droplet suggesting encouragement and hope. The back cover speaks volumes, giving due importance to our general and conclusive message: “Stop Sex for Water”
Testimonial of the clients. Ideal size would be around 150 characters which means it will spill into two lines and be equivalent to the text you just read.
