Healthcare professionals want to act, but don't know where to start
When health is on the line, everything else seems to disappear. And yet, we can't ignore paper waste for the good of the planet.
Nurses need to take notes but are also required to throw away all paper trails of patient-sensitive information. This results in many shredded notes and overflowing paper bins in the name or Privacy. The nurses don't deserve the extra pressure.
They do enough. But paper waste will not magically disappear if we don't act.
