It’s that time of the year again! As the year draws to a close, it’s time to reflect on the milestones, achievements, and incredible progress we’ve made in 2024. From retail expansions to inspiring impact projects, here’s a look at everything we’ve accomplished—with your support!
Retail expansion: MOYU lands in Bruna stores
All is set to start 2025 with a bang! As of January, our best-selling notebooks and the much-loved new kid on the block —our Kid’s Playbook— will be available in 100 Bruna stores across the Netherlands, with even more stores to follow. It’s a significant step towards getting more people to discover stone paper. Seeing MOYUs on Bruna’s shelves is a milestone we’re incredibly proud of!
A Stone Paper Alliance is forming
Roel has got the ball rolling to build a network of like-minded innovators and organizations to place stone paper on the map. The first subsidy is in. And, it has unlocked the gates to explore the opportunities to build a Circular Stone Paper System on European soil—one that’s both sustainable and economically viable. A greener future is in the making!
Kid’s Playbook stole the new products show
This year we launched reusable gift envelopes, back-to-school bundles, and the first experimental modular notebooks. But the star of our 2024 new product line-up was the Kid’s Playbook. The 34 replayable games and puzzles were an instant hit amongst our parent fans looking to keep their young kids entertained. Or so they say. We’re sure they ‘borrowed it’ once or twice when the kids went off to bed.
Art and impact as new designs for collections
In 2024, we expanded our collections with two new Impact Editions and an Artistic Collection. One of the impact editions supports Adopt Rainforest's mission to protect bio-diversity in Costa Rica's rainforests and the other, helps Simavi raise awareness about sextortion to help girls and women get safe access to water. The Artistic Collection is a showcase of MOYU fans' artistic talent. Spoiler alert: more to come in 2025!
UK baby!
2024 marks the official entry into the UK market. That’s right, not just London baby! With the help of Alex, our amazing, special forces-trained, sales agent, we’re taking stone paper across the canal. The plan is to showcase MOYU at Merchandise World, a leading reseller event, and the rest is bound to be MOYU history in the making. We’re excited to ride the wave of positive responses into 2025.
Back to School tour
Education met stone paper as we ran two pilots in Dutch primary school. The students tested our notebooks and gave valuable feedback going into the next calendar year. As it stands right now, we plan to expand this initiative and reach even more young learners in 2025.
